My Lord,

With reference to paragraph 2 of Your Lordship's

despatch No. 237 of the 19th August,1930, requesting

reperts every six months from December 1930, and in con-

tinuation of my despatch No. 622 of the 4th December, 1930,

I have the honour to report that the number of registered

muitoal muiteni raaining in the Solony at the end of the ascond

six-monthly period, i.c. on the 1st May, 1831, is 3,949.

2. As stated in paragraph 1 of my despatch Eo. (22

under reference the number of registered uitsal remaining

on Nevauber 30th,1930, was 4,117. The local diminution

during the period under review is therefore 166.
